anon : I've read a lot of terrible reviews of Sympatico. Personally, I've had their high speed service for about 4 years now, and I have never experienced what most folks complain about. My packafe arrived quickly, setup was a breeze, my service is fast and stable - and the odd time I've had to call tech support the level 2 staff have been relatively helpful. (I have a feeling that the level 1 staff are simply "filters" to avoid wasting time on people who have unwittingly unplugged their modem etc. - I admit they are useless for anyone with any semblance of technical knowledge).

To sum up, my experience with Sympatico has been overall quite positive - I wonder if I'm a rare case.
