Just think of all the hardball tactics of network programmers vs dish companies or cablecos vs local network affiliates.<br><br>Google is just the new kid on the block - albeit a mighty big new kid on the block.<br><br><div class="bquote">In the EU, Google has almost replaced Microsoft as the most hated US corporation and ahead of Apple. From now on continued Google growth will be fought tooth and nail by a large number of competitors. While Microsoft may lament the loss of being the only unstoppable force, at least they get to smile at Google's change from the most well loved internet company to one hated by more and more.<br> </DIV>It's one thing to be hated by rivals.  It's another to be hated by the users.  I don't think Google falls into the latter category at all.]]></description>
