Hey, I have a radical idea for people looking for entertainment during layovers at an airport. It's low cost, has a very small storage footprint, won't weigh you down when running from gate to gate, and the TSA asswipes won't even give you a hard time about it. It's called a paperback book. You should try it sometime. You won't even have to fight for a power outlet to enjoy it. -- The Toll

| | | Re: Idiots In Action I agree. What is this world coming to that people have to be on their computes 24/7? I guess the world is growing dependant on technology. Don't get me wrong, I love computers and technology but is it going kill someone not to get on their computer for a little while? And for the power companies, most simply deliver power. So don't whine at the power company for the high prices of electricity, whine at the companies that make the power passing it on to your power company for delivery to your home. And airports, well the airline industry is a joke. Nough said. | |

I was just in an all day meeting where I was the only one who didn't have a laptop. Just a little notepad (Steno-style, that flipped open with the loops at the top).
When everyone flipped open their notebooks .. so did I. I used a piece of tape to hold that flip open cover up at about a 120 degree angle so I looked like the rest of the folks. Well, kindof anyway. But I had a little trouble logging into the NetMeeting though (it was between all the folks located in the same room, and that room was only about 10'x12'). Personally, I found the thought of a NetMeeting in that scenerio to be hilarious.
Luckily everyone had a good sense of humor and allowed me to make an idiot of myself laughing so hard. | |
