Re: Email regarding overuse of service.

I too am wondering about their business offerings. Im interested in the 10mbps/2mbps package. If the restrictions on bandwidth usage are better, I would gladly like to have the extra upload bandwidth. I've not been getting my 12mbps down anyways.

Re: Email regarding overuse of service.

As far as i'm concerned, until they have tools that help you monitor your bandwidth, you shouldn't be responsible for going over their "caps". Also, you should talk to the abuse department on here.

As far as their business offerings, you will have to contact the local business office and find out what's going on with their offerings.

Also, can you switch to DSL in your area? Most DSL companies don't have "caps" unlike their cable competitors but read the EULA to be sure.

Here, it's sprint/embarq and there horrible. Their prices are more reasonable then Cox's however, I'm too far from the remote node to get their 5.0 plan.

Re: Email regarding overuse of service.

Unfortunately where Im currently living I am unable to get DSL, or I would even look into going dual WAN. I contacted the business side through email, still no reply, no reply from abuse either. I'm fed up with Cox I can't wait for some competition.

Well unless you get put on a different node your issues wont be going away anytime soon.
