And next, and next, and next...

Air travel ticket prices include fees than range from high to outrageously high (see LHR recent fee increase) for the use of the airport. So we already paid for those amenities by the time we're sitting in the airport waiting for a flight. At LHR terminal 4 they actually removed the 3 outlets that used to be available (3 for a whole terminal! now none) They're just counting on the fact that 99.99% of the people affected won't bother to complain or won't know how to. Next up:
Pay to sit down (those chairs are expensive and having people sit on them wears them down)
Pay to ride a moving sidewalk, an escalator or elevator (those are expensive to run)
Pay to peek at the flight schedule screens (if you can't afford to pay to see it, you don't need the information)
Pay to wear your shoes rather than walking around in socks (shoes wear out the carpets, don't you know)
Pay to use a rolling suitcase (the wheels wear out the carpets, too)
Pay for *not* using a rolling suitcase (because you're not paying your fair share)
Pay to stand in a cooled zone on a hot day, or in a warm zone on a cold day (costs a lot of money to run that AC)
etc...
