It's reliability for me. After hurricanes, the Bellsouth land lines are the only thing working -- no power, no cell, no cable, no water, no sewer. I'll trade a little speed (which I'll never notice anyway) and a couple of bucks for the Bellsouth guys out on the street while the wind is still blowing.
