I have separate premier residential 12/1 as well as a 10/2 business account. The business account was doing what it was supposed to for the first 3 months. Then, node split, downloads are ok, BUT, uploads now only go 1.5-1.8. NOT ANY HIGHER THAN 1.8. Been fighting with CBS now since SEPTEMBER over this issue. Do you think I've gotten anywhere with the issue? Course not. I guess to Cox, it's ok if we cheat you/short change you a little. So, should I only pay "up to" 80% of my bill also??? For a 2 megabit u/l, they say 1.6 (80%) is acceptable. Hogwash! They give you same ol same ol "up to" excuses.

I don't think the Phoenix area can support 2 megabit u/l. I also provide IT services for several Cox customers. Just installed a new connect in Phoenix yesterday for the 10/2. Yah it goes 10 down but DOESN'T go 2 up. More like 1.5/1.6 over there. I expect more run around about that issue.

As of last Wednesday, I think they axed the 2 megabit u/l tier and replaced it with 12/1.5 at the same price as the 10/2.
