Re: Vonage Pre-Pay?

Here's the quote I got, for NYC

Annual Residential Premium Unlimited Plan $225.00
New Rate Plan Activation Charge $0.00
Regulatory Recovery Fee $10.89
Emergency 911 Cost Recovery $10.89
Sales Tax $20.98
Federal Universal Service Fee $13.33
State Excise Tax $6.55
Local Franchise Tax $6.15
County MCTD Surcharge Sec. 186 $1.56
State Franchise Surcharge Sec. 184-Access $0.98
Local Transit Tax $0.98
County MCTD Surcharge Sec. 184 $0.33
Total Amount: $297.64

works out to 25-ish dollars a month.

might be worth it. Righ now on the 500 minute plan.... with taxes just over 20 bucks.

I wonder, if you're paying 20 bucks for 500 minutes, why not switch to another provider who offer pay as you go plans???
