I'm getting fed up with TW Cable right now here in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley). I migrated from Adelphia and they (Time Warner) still have NOT fixed basic e-mail problems. In my case, i'm speaking of webmail. When you go on there (webmail.roadrunner.com), it still shows your e-mail address as being XXXXXX@adelphia.net There is a pull down tab in preferences to change the "from" address, but you can NOT change it to roadrunner.com Calls to customer support were worthless as they try getting you to load software that has nothing to do with their WEB based application. Anybody else in the same boat????

When you access your Adelphia web mail box, does the RoadRunner logo appear in the upper left corner of the screen? It does for me. RoadRunner took over all the Adelphia services and applied their logo. So, even though it is Adelphia, it is also RoadRunner. They have not yet done away with the Adelphia mail, but when they do, I hope that all spam still directed to the Adelphia addresses will bounce higher than a DirecTV satellite.

I believe, in fact, that you are migrated and that there is nothing else for you to do. RoadRunner will handle the dispostion of our Adelphia accounts at a later date. We will be notified at some point and probably those who are still sending mail to us at the old address will be calling our phones to find out whether we are still alive.

By the way, if you have not already done so, go the the main RoadRunner web site (not the help page). When there, click on the web mail icon. You should be given an opportunity to identify your account type (regular roadrunner, old Adelphia, you'll see what I mean). Since you are old Adelphia, be sure to use that, enter your address as user@roadrunner.com and then your password. You will be taken directly to the web mail site, which will still be the old Adelphia site, but at least it will be through the link at RoadRunner. Don't use any other web mail link at RoadRuner, because that still won't work.

Thanks. Yuck, it uses Flash! Bad. Maybe that is why I got sent to the other URL. So I saw the Webmail, selected my location and stuff, and went to »webmail.roadrunner.com/webedge (Adelphia's old Webmail with RR's logo). Logged in with one of my accounts and that worked.

I wonder how long we will be using this old Webmail and servers.

I wish I knew. I was afraid after I sent you the other link that you might be using IE7 and it wouldn't work because of an Adobe Flash bug with IE7. However, you didn't get stuck with that, either because you were too smart to upgrade to IE7 or you use Firefox, which has no problems.

I'm hoping that we will get some final resolution to this e-mail thing sometime before June 2007, but who knows?
