DRM does NOTHING to deter piracy. You're too
drowning in the MAFIAA koolaid to realize this, as
is every Organized Music/Hollywood CEO who thinks DRM
is a viable business model.
It may even encourage or cause "piracy". And it is
pure snakeoil as well - if it can be heard or seen,
it can be copied.
For those of you who persist in thinking that DRM somehow
curbs piracy, read the following commentary from Jim Baen's

Nothing could be further from the truth. Jim is arguing
that DRM creates a black market and high demand for non
