Want to grow? OVERBUILD!

I think you should be allowed to serve more than 30% of the market as long as you newly overbuild anything everything above the original 30%.

EDIT: Implemented Kylemaul See Profile's suggested language.

well not only that...from my understanding once they hit the magic number they will have to reject any new customers...which means any people who live in apartments who can not get satellite would be SOL....

Careful with your language, JT! Concast will interpret 'anything' to mean 'any single thing'. I think you probably meant -everything- above the original 30%.

Excellent point Kylemaul See Profile! I changed my statement, just in case the FCC is stalking me (ha! ).

That could work in Comcast's favor. It'd be a great opportunity to terminate the heaviest internet users and limited-basic only TV subscribers in favor of more lucrative customers. If you aren't willing to dump truckloads of cash into Comcast's coffers every month, be prepared to do without.

Do you realize how idiotic your arguments sound?

Congratulations... you've hit new lows.

I think they have MUCH better things to do than listen to you. Must be nice to feel important.

That's why it was said tongue-in-cheek. But it's nice to know at least someone is stalking me.

I'm glad I could provide you with yet another opportunity to issue a personal attack. Hope you feel better now.

Why? If you can buy and upgrade where is the downside? Also, as long as the 30% rule is in effect there will be fewer options to many. That "last mile" that everyone keeps complaining is left out of the broadband picture could be built if providers do not have to worry about going over that magical 30% mark.

I like the new, scared Commiecast. It gets me Phone,Internet, and Digital with hbo/starz/Encore for $129 for 1 year. The old "I am KING HEAR ME ROAR!" Comcast would be like "You want phone, Internet, Starz/Encore/Hbo, Digital Plus please forkover
$200/month plus $12 for DVR and $6 for the other 2 boxes as well."
