this is why...

people by-in-large hate the legal system... it's injurious, it's overly litigious, it's rampantly skewed in favor of big money organizations, and doesn't care for the truth, but instead maintains the adversarial system as a means to an end... having the riaa setup a quickie settlement system is no different then it being on par with an extortion ring... the only difference being that this system is legal while real racketeers and extortionists see the inside of a court room if they are caught...

every state bar association should be condemning this type of drive-by, buckshot scattering device to fleece people against false accusations... what a scam this is...

wow who knew the legal system could be this easy?!

if only there was a website to bribe the cops for when I need to deal some drugs, or sell illegal firearms.

This smells. Without a subpeona, how exactly are they discovering information? Why are they giving legal advice on their website about "evidence" without citing the law (they are correct though)?

It is akin to "I'm suing you for so and so. Call 1-866------ (and our interrogator will get your to admit to it). Or, since you didn't call, you can use this website to settle the case."

I guess the RIAA no longer wishes to prove a case by foresic computer evidence just threats.

Why does the RIAA sometimes remind me of a webcomic I read called Evil Inc.? It's tag line is "You can do more evil if you do it legal."
