Re: this is why... This smells. Without a subpeona, how exactly are they discovering information? Why are they giving legal advice on their website about "evidence" without citing the law (they are correct though)?
It is akin to "I'm suing you for so and so. Call 1-866------ (and our interrogator will get your to admit to it). Or, since you didn't call, you can use this website to settle the case."
I guess the RIAA no longer wishes to prove a case by foresic computer evidence just threats. |
