Re: [Speed] Upload powerboost is here! (Chicago)

I'm in Virginia when should I see this or am I seein it updated now cause I'm having issues connecting to some sites and even speedtest.net I'm having trouble testing!??
Should I call to ask? I see also 22megs download speeds on speakeasy.net's speedtest site but I don't see but 9megs on speedtest.net's? everyone here is showing those massive fast power boosts on speedtest's site..should I see the same?

In Lemont, IL.

My upload burst seems to be a bit slower than everyone elses... I'll take whatever I can get, though.

Looks like we have it here in the little town of Connersville, Indiana now too! My connection is in use at the moment so this is one of the lower speed tests. I have been getting over 20,000 Kbps down and over 2000 Kbps up... Cool is all I can say...
How long is te burst lasting for most people?

I am trying one of those european vpn services and noticed that the upload powerboost seems to work with torrents when i use it! It bounces between 1 and 2 Mb for the most part. Pretty cool!
edit: worked for a while.. Back to normal.

I got it yesterday in Monticello, Indiana which is midway between Indy and South Bend.

Mine was through the router and wireless.

Mornin' all.... just thought I would run a few speed tests and then try a actual download and so far nothing on powerboost for upload but the download is crankin'... guess the powerboost gods are feeling generous, so much for doubling your speed on download since im quadrupling mine thus far.

So this upload boost is only for 10mb or so?

I'm a Wide Open West customer and keep checking the Comcast forums to see if Comcast's upload will pass WOW's. I have 6/1 currently and would switch in a heartbeat if Comcast had a sustained speed greater than WOW's.

Yep, only a temp boost.

I think it is 1Mb for the first 5MB for the 6Mb tier and
2Mb for the first 10MB for the 8Mb tier.

I used to have WOW and had a solid 1100 up... now that I moved away from WOW territory I top out at about 720up. No up PB here yet, but it won't be constant anyway.

I am guessing this was the reason for the 2-3hr outage we experienced yesterday ...

Download Speed: 19430 kbps (2428.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1554 kbps (194.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

looking good!

Upload Speed: 2022 kbps (252.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

6/384 plan

I've got to say..for the people wanting it...its pretty much useless as it goes away to fast..

Has anyone ran a p2p program to see if it uploads to a user for the full boost? I been trying it but no one has downloaded from me while i ran it..Being that mp3's arent that big..

What speed do you have and what type of modem? Do you have the download powerboost?

Man... I'm jealous. Anyone want to loan some of your extra bandwidth to us in Memphis? This result is considerably faster than what it has been for the last couple of months:
