| [northeast] Home Business with no one to service me with DSL? I am not one to get frustrated easily...however, the only internet service that I can seem to find in my area is dial-up. (Which is frustrating me) Cable won't service us, Verizon, windstream, Paetec, One communication - No one!
The homes 1 mile down the road have high speed. The homes 2 miles on the other side of the road have high speed but they are telling me that because there are not 35 homes between my home and where the wires stop, I am not eligable for service. It seems lke I am in this tiny dead zone with no service.

| Re: [northeast] Home Business with no one to service me with DSL Perhaps you can use Broadband Access from Verizon Wireless? The download of that is 400-700K burstable to 2M. Kyocera makes a router that lets you use this access type in your home for multiple computers, either wired or wireless. I believe there are data caps associated with these plans, however, as Verizon does not currently have the capacity in that network to permit true unlimited. |
