| SoCal Toyota Repair?
Greetings, all Anybody know of a good, reputable, independant place in the South Bay/Torrance area that specializes in Toyotas? A good friend at work had her car to the dealer for some minor things, and they want her to spend over $1500 to fix a minor cold-start problem. Of course they want her to replace almost everything related to the injection, but the car is super clean under the hood, and has always been well-maintained and never abused. I really doubt if it needs as much work as the dealer claims, so Isuggested she take it to an independant place. problem is, I don't know of any! TIA, Jim -- One man's Magic is another man's Engineering. |

| reply to drjim Would Long Beach be too far for her to go? My sister has an old MR2 that she has been taking to a mechanic over there and seems to like his work. I can ask her the name of the business and where it's located, if you're friend is not against going that far. -- Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for? - Gimli |
