Re: Compare.... It's Digital Plus that has the Encore channels. The Verizon movie package ($13) has Encore, Starz, and Showtime (which includes TMC, and Flix), plus Sundance--45 channels altogether (and, yes, some are just east coast/west coast versions of each other separated by 3 hrs, but I've actually found that to be useful sometimes). Digital Classic does have Flix.
Basically, they (both Comcast and Verizon, or anyone) don't really try to make it terribly easy to do a channel for channel comparison. Anyway, to each his/her own. Expect packages and prices to change as it suits either company. |
