| Who wishes they were in the islands? Alright, this forum needs to wake up a bit!
I went to Maui in 2005, and every day I wish I were back. 11 days in paradise, every day was 86 and sunny, and Saturday...I'm not kidding! You'd wake up at 5 AM as the surf would crash in, sleep a little bit more, till & or so, then decide what you're gonna do...
Actually, I kinda take the "every day is Saturday" thing back. See, being a mainlander, I thought weekends were the time to be there...it wasnt! Monday night at the Hard Rock in Lahaina was a scream! I must have been too done up to do Tuesday night, but think it was some place by the Cannary Mall...but I do remember the half off sushi place north of Kananpali on Wed night...
What a damn blast! Even doing nothing all day...hanging out at the little beach by the small airport, and the picky ass grass that would stab you in the feet!
Okay, I'm rambling, but damn it, lets hear about other peoples trip there! Or, even better, if you're lucky enough to live there, just share a story to help us Midwesterners make it through the rest of winter. See, we really only have two seasons here; Winter, and August!

I'd like to go to see the Arizona memorial. Other than that, you can have it. I'm too much of a desert rat at heart. I grew up at the beach /ocean and don't care if I never set sight on them again. Plus, anywhere that Dog guy and his trashy wife are I'd like to be at least 3000 miles away from.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, I think about the Islands all the time. I've been to Maui, Oahu, and the Big Island. I go with the wife every November to charge my batteries for the long, wet, winter, ahead. I love it! Can't wait for next November.....
