In Linux (Mandrake 7.2)
# /sbin/ifconfig eth0 mtu 1410
- to try it out (assuming eth0 is your ethernet port).
To make the change stick across reboots I added a line:
MTU=1410
to file: /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
(values slightly larger than 1410 may work also, refer back to the initial post) |
