You are right. I forgot about that. I don't have Boost myself, just OOL. All this marketing makes you make a mistake like this. Of course, one can put website on non-standard port, but it is ugly. So, 128Kbps limit on port 80 is not so great.

I have never followed this issue myself, but here is the post that probably answers it (they block proxy ports):

But if someone uses new non-RFC port each time in all sub pages, but a main page served by capped 80 port is light weight, it can work, unless they do more robust traffic-shaping based on actual content of a request. Of course, I will probably stay away from such website as user.

Port 80 Speed Limit gone

They removed the 128Kb/s limit a few months ago. You can now upload at the full rate on 80.
