updated to boost, speeds are the same -.-

so i added boost last night.. and i'm still getting 7k down and 1.4k up.. anyone know whats up? ive tried just about every tcp receive window.. im pretty much ready to throw my router out the window because it seems everytime i download at 1MB/s or over for more than 10-20 seconds, everyone on wireless gets kicked off and needs to reconnect. could the dying router be the issue?

Sure it could be the router - you didn't post which you have.

If you are still seeing 1.4mb up, then I doubt you have Boost. Call up support and have them verify your account is properly on Boost. 1.4 is ok for the standard 2mb non-Boost accounts.

Connecting directly to the modem would rule out the router as the problem. Running docsdiag will confirm whether boost has been provisioned properly.

Calling support should also be able to verify your boost provisioning.

I had the same problem. I upgraded to boost and didn't get the speeds immediately, Until they rebooted my modem approximately 5 times.

Then the next hold up was on my Router. I had a Mac override in it which I had to remove. Disabled SPI and speeds were at boost real speeds 30/5
