| HSI Promo Package speed?
Now don't get me wrong...I love not paying the arm and a leg. The problem is...1) I didn't make the adjustment to my account. Meaning...I didn't call and ask for any deals or agree to any promos from anyone who called cuz no one called me. 2) I had the gold tier and I was running 15/1. I think a have read on here that you only get silver tier on any promo. Which double pisses me off.
So do I have any recourse for them adjusting my account without my knowledge? The only reason I noticed it was when my bill amount dropped in almost half. I called and asked what happened and they said I was on all kinds of promos that includes some for cable TV. I told them that I didn't agree to any promos. I think that with FIOS in my area they adjusted my bill so I wouldn't leave. If I could get it I would. Lucky for them I can't yet.
Oh I almost forgot...It is my account and only I would be able to call them or agree to any promos.
I know it is strange to me to be complaining when they cut me a break on their high rates. It is the principle of it though. I wasn't aware of them doing it. I wouldn't have agreed to anything that would have lowered my HSI speed.
Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

| First, I think you meant 16/1.
Second, did your speed drop?
Third, if answer to the second question is "no", shut up and enjoy it. 
If the answer is "yes", simply tell them you want to be reverted back to your normal speed.
BTW, there are promo deals out there for the gold tier as well. |

Well to be honest I haven't had a chance to really even get on it since they made it promo rate. Working too damn much. I will check tonight when I get home.
I guess I am just irritated they changed it without them letting me know when I get letters about the Comcast triple play on a weekly basis. Which is odd to me that I never got a bill for that month when they switched it. I got a bill the following month with the previous balance on it but never one that detailed what credits and promos are for. |

Well I have been with Comcast for years. I have HSI and cable TV. The confusion for me was I is that I didn't call them nor did they call me but yet I have been put on "packages" and at the same time the bill for the month that this would show the itemized details of the "packages" and credits. The only reason I knew they did anything was because I checked the bill online and it was only for half of my normal bill. When I called them I told them I wanted a copy of that bill and it has yet to come. |
