| As much as I hate to rain on your parade, the chances of Valve listening to an online petition border on the infinitesimal.
Really want to protest? Stop playing CS. Maybe if Valve sees their cash-cow's numbers drop dramatically they'll reconsider.

At the time of this posting, there were over twice as many CS servers as there were CS:S servers, and just under 4 times as many CS players online than CS:S players. Granted, CS players consist of all version up to 1.6, but I'd be willing to bet the vast majority are playing 1.6.
