said by Tomek :said by Anonymous_ :no SA was GTA 6th GTA L GTA GTA2 GTA3 GTA VC GTA SA GTA LCS GTA VCS WRONG! GTA London was expansion to GTA. GTA2 was new engine GTA3 3D engine GTA VC and SA are like expansions of GTA3 engine GTA4 another step in new 3D engine. All cities were present in GTA.
They say console version will be available in October 16. So I guess March next year we should expect GTA on PC. I just can't live with that lame console targeting system. I want a mouse. So whichever console implements that in games, gets my money. Man, that really sucks... Why do we have to wait for it to be released on the PC like that? Basically I get all excited about it being released in March of the next year and then all my friends already have played it and beat it on console so they're like "yeah, who cares?"
We deserve respect too!

Even more so now that today's consoles basically ARE PC's, I mean seriously take an xbox apart. It has hard drives too. It uses CDs. So why take so long to 'port' it over? There shouldn't be any 'porting' done. I think R* just likes to f*ck with the heads of PC users or something, no other gave developer releases stuff for the PC later than console, they release it at same time. |

| It's all about money, both MS and Sony want to have "exclusive" rights for the game, so it will motivate people to buy game AND the console. After six months when demand drops, then they target PC gamers. FYI, Xbox is a PC running some weird edition of Windows, however PS3 has unique architecture (non-x86) and is a pain in the ass for developers. -- Semper Fi |

2 edits | Actually none of the current consoles are using x86 processors. They're all running on PowerPC processors, like what Apple used to use. This is why developers originally worked with Powermac G5s to make their 360 games and the first playable 360 games were actually running on Powermac G5s.

Hopefully developers use the PS3's support for mice and keyboards, if so it will become my next gaming machine. |
