The trailer for it is indeed quite gorgeous...
But I have to say, this is the first time I've actually been... inspired by the plot of a GTA game.
But after playing Crackdown, the graphics don't impress me in the trailer as they probably could have. It's a great leap forward for the GTA series, because GTA 3 (and its derivatives) by now just looks fugly by comparison, but at least this one seems to capture a lot of the graphical detail that this game sorely needed.

But if rockstar was going to create an entirely different Liberty City, they would have called it something different. I think it will still have the same basic island layout (probably bigger though).
