The Premier speeds appear to be set at 6000/512. The download speeds seem to be about the same as we were getting with Adelphia. The upload speed is slower...
The radio stations on the Road Runner home page play now. |

RR ConductorHappy 40th AmtrakPremium join:2002-04-02 Redwood Valley, CA kudos:1 4 edits | The speedtests at speedtest.net for me started showing Comcast Cable instead of Adelphia yesterday, and my IP now comes back as Comcast, but the welcome site still says we are to be notified when the transition is to take place, and while you can order all of the digital cable packages (including DVR and HDTV) for this area on Comcast's site HSI still can't be ordered online. Adelphia ebilling still works though, and we haven't been given a Comcast account or email address yet, so it seems like they are doing our transition in bits and pieces.
Also, traceroutes show up as Adelphia, though again whois says those IP's are now owned by Comcast.
»welcome.comcast.net/Login.do That site gives me this message when I put in my info-
Your account is not scheduled to be transitioned to Comcast at this time. You will be notified when your account is ready for transition
Edit- HOLD the phone Irma! You can now order HSI online from Comcast for this area too, I guess this means we have been transitioned, no? -- See the BOOMING railroads »www.gorail.org See MAJOR freight&passenger action@ the Galesburg, IL RailCam! »205.245.189.161:1100/ THE BEST way2travel- »www.amtrak.com »www.modocrailroadacademy.com -Grad,Class of 2-07,woohoo! |

Yes, I am also showing RR now...
My speed tests suck, I am closer to 5MBps than before, but my uplink has fallen from 450Kbps+ to 330kbps+
