| reply to schipperke Ordered 2 over the weekend. They came in the mail today. It took a few extra steps/reboots to get the first one up and running on Win2K, but so far all seems well.
Not sure just what of the several extra reboots and switching it from one USB port to another fixed the install on this unsupported operating system, but persistence paid off. -- "The world is a book; those who do not travel read but a single page." -St. Augustine |

| I ordered one yesterday and it shipped out today. I assume they're shipping via USPS Priority mail, so I should have it by Sat. With the sunrocket discount code, I was able to get the device and 2 years of service for $54.90 shipped. Looking forward to it. |

| reply to schipperke I ordered mine last Wednesday 11th. It shipped on the 12th. I received it on Monday. It took longer to get it out the plastic then it did to install it. 615 area code/Nashville was the closest number I could get to North Carolina. The voice quality is ok. It does not come close to my Call Vantage or Packet 8 lines but is more than usable. I have used it with a cordless phone and with the soft phone. The soft phone works well. The voice mail works and it sends e-mails. For $40.00 you can't beat it. I've showed it to several friends and I think they are going to buy as well. |

| reply to schipperke Can you use two magicJacks in the same computer? I figured you should be able to as long as they're on 2 physical usb ports of the computer, instead of on one of those USB expander ports. Anyone know for sure if using 2 MagicJacks on the same XP pc is possibe (basically getting two lines in and out?) I am a SunRocket orphan too, and want something cheap with 2 lines (loved the virtual number with SR--darn them!) |

| reply to schipperke Hi, Just have few Questions about MagicJack I called the customer service and asked them, is it required to keep the system ON always for making and receiving calls. The answer is to use the 'forward me' option when we want to turn off the system Now my question is. If during the night time i switch off the system and in the morning if i turn on the system..then can i start using the phone to make calls again???? OR is it necessary that once the software is installed that i should keep the system ON always to make calls Please answer |

However, the magicJack people are working on a version that can do it according to amange of the magicJack staff yesterday in the magicJack chatroom. It will be one magicJack that can handle two lines on one computer. I don't know the date when it will be available. -- low cost and fast speed is what customers want in broadband |

| internal phone line
The 2nd line in my house is internal, i.e. is not connected to verizon outside of the house. I previously routed the sunrocket gizmo through this internal line, so the service would go to all of the phone jacks in the house.
Can the MJ be routed through this same internal phone line, so the service goes to all phone jacks in the house? |
