karlmarx : Why in the world would anyone want to pay $1.99 for something that the Tivo will record for free. And to add insult to the injury, you can't even burn that TV show to a DVD?

The fact of the matter, is the corporation is trying to nickle and dime everyone to death. To start, they charge 50.00 a month (600/year) just to WATCH the TV Shows. Then they believe that you should pay 2.00 per episode, (48.00/year), then another 50.00 to buy the series on DVD when it comes out. That comes out to almost 700.00/year for 1 TV show. And another 100.00/year for each additional show?

That's just crazy. Better to spend 50.00/month for a high speed connection, and download all your TV shows. You can get ANY tv show, and the only cost is your internet connection.
--
Stick it to the MAN. Support your local torrent sites. Proudly providing 100mb of upstream for all your TV, Movie, and MP3 needs.
