yeah, but getting HD tuner cards with a cablecard slot is like pulling hen's teeth. If Windows MCE would make it EASY to record from firewire off the cable box that would be the ultimate solution.
That would require the cable companies to ENABLE said firewire ports on cable boxes.

Tulsa, OK		 firewire is enabled by law. I can get content from my box via firewire, just not EASILY. It is mandated by the FCC.
