I'd rather not use the 327w's firewall, I already have XP's firewall configured to allow all the exceptions and ports that I need.
This problem is not really affecting anything I do online, it's more of an annoyance I guess. |

| I am also on Verizon with two computers connected to a 327W. I have the same condition in which my Windows 98SE machine is listed as offline on the VersaLink if the ZoneAlarm firewall is running on the Windows machine. The other computer is running NetBSD and always shows online on the Westell.
Can you ping between your two computers? Can you ping from each computer to the VersaLink?

| solar2190, you are a wonderful human being. Thanks to your comment about your XP's firewall I did a little more investigation of the ZoneAlarm firewall settings on my Windows computer. I put the Westell VersaLink (IP address 192.168.1.1) and my NetBSD computer (IP address 192.168.1.46) into the ZoneAlarm Trusted Zone. Voila! I can now ping both ways.
