Re: Eve Online- Video While I can agree that eve online is a very well made game, I think this on-station stuff is a waste of time and energy. They should be focusing on more in-space stuff. Like ship customization. So what? You can walk around on a space station and talk to people. It's more of a social thing, then something that actually has function or any real purpose to the rest of the game. |

I was thinking the same thing at first.
Then I remembered the White Wolf merger.
The engine for walking around and such is being developed anyway from what I have been reading to enhance and create physical products in games.
Eve Online will be some sort of test bed so it will grow from there and become similar to E&B as far as the activities in the station.
Later this engine will be used for other games CCP(Crowd Control Productions) hopes to be creating down the road.
