join:2006-03-13 Avon, CO | reply to MarkSorensen Yes it does look like we are all going to bite the dust in about 3 years max. Even the large WISPs with plenty of customers can be taken out once the big guys can provide service almost anywhere under one ID. Anyone think differently? |

| WISP opportunities exist even where telcos are running CDMA voice/data services at 400Mhz. 
But I recently interviewed with a new start-up that is designing SDR gear for any UHF TV band. They are very gung-ho on prospects of Google/Youtube or Skype/Joost driving a new global network using VSAT + UHF bands. |
