As of 12:50 EDT all is working again with no changes to the router info on my part. IOW Comcast telling me all last week and weekend that it was my problem and my errors of equipment/configuration has been proven to be the bull that I suspected. You might want to keep that in mind before changing any of your own configurations. |

| Today has been a sloooow day. Web pages partially load. Speeds are down to dial up speeds. Upload test speeds all fail. Speedtest.net reports 140 kbps down. Upload hangs-no result. I guess this is all expected with the transition. Hopefully we'll be back up and running soon! |

fastracer those speeds look like speedboost..
So does anyone official care to comment on my thoughts on speed after the transition for Adel 6/768 customers? I'm still waiting. -- TCHRacing.com - Florida's Ford & Mustang Forum |

Customers that recieve the 6000Mb/768Kb will go to 6000Mb powerboost/384Kb and the premier charge will be removed. That kinda stinks cuz their taking away some of my upload. We won't be able to get 768Kb back until april in the Palm Beach County area. |

Received a new ip address and speeds are similar as they were before.
Pings are high at the ATT and Level 3 peering points though. |

| reply to hobgoblin I just checked my modem logs and saw the following:
2007-03-26 17:12:34
Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out
Would someone care to interpret? Does it have anything to do with the transition?

[/BQUOTE :Well I just spoke with a rep who claimed they recently had a meeting about this. He claimed that in this meeting they were told Adel 4MB customer will be upgraded to 6/768 for free and all current Adel Premiere 6/768 customers would stay the same (kind of). He then went on to tell me that they said in a few weeks time all old Adel Premiere 6/768 customers would be upgraded to 8/768 similar to service currently available in Martin County. When I asked about caps and pricing for premiere customers he gave me a phone number to some HSI management department where I've been on hold for a bit. -- TCHRacing.com - Florida's Ford & Mustang Forum |
