WHOA!!! Congrats! Our transition to Comcast is supposed to be done by the 23rd of this month, according to the letter we got yesterday anyway.

Excellent! I work in the Jacksonville FL call center and we have some reps working on the Adelphia to Comcast Transition for Brunswick, GA, and Yulee, FL. The Billing systems have been merged as well, So everything looks to be going good!

Appreciate the reply and the good work!
Question do you think Brunswick/Jacksonville will get the higher speeds?

If you are a heavy RSS podcaster user, and you are out there to use your service for entertainment for internet radio. You are going to hit that limit. Thats a very rare case for a legit useage of the service. 99% of the 200gb limit is something that you will see a way to combat peer to peer. Though there are other steps, and equipment that would do a great deal of help and not limiting useage. which comcast may or may not be using.

Warning.

When you are switch to Comcast from Adelphia I just learned that they will change your service level to what ever they want to give you but by magic carry over the bill for what you where paying at Adelphia. They will most likely not notify you direct but maybe send you a nice welcomme letter without any specifics.

My case was at Adelphia 6/1.5 mb transfered to Comcast 3-4m/768kb but billing was the Adelphia rate. No notes on the bill.

So WATCH OUT.

Of course, they will roll you into the closest match that they have compared to what Adelphia had. That's logic for ya.

How much does listening to internet radio use (Live365)? I listen all the time for hours!

kinda thought it must not be too much as I have streamed a bunch on my wizard phone and never pulled over 400 or 500 mb in usage.

In your conversation, you claim that Comcast advertises "unlimited" Internet service. Can you post a link to bolster that claim? Please?

Oh charrog,
Didn't see your reply sorry about that. I KNOW Upload Powerboost is coming to Jax, but I haven't heard anything about the 16/1 or 16/2 speeds just yet. Time will tell. we already have dload Powerboost of course.
