I live six tenths of a mile from highway 29 in the older part of American Canyon. I have the basic HSI package which runs me about $ 67 dollars a month. I know that Comcast is suppose to be upgrading the junction box's for HD as I was told by the rep's that where going to those of us that pay for Comcast. I explained to them that I have had continuios issues with my connectivity and when told that theres been problems with the cable lines that are ten years old that there have been so many complaints about not only internet connectivity but with TV and that I was assured that it was going to be fixed I just shook my head and walked away. Look I have had intermitten connectivity in the morning I keep getting the message cable unplugged, this has been going on for so long with nothing being repaired it just is nuts having Comcast sending out their people wanted you to upgrade when they dont resolve ten year issues that have been on their work order log's. Look here's my point and I am sorry it took this long to get to it but theres been outstanding issues with Comcast for ten years and they needed to be pointed out, What good is Powerboost if one the cable lines are ten years old and in need of serious replacement yet they want you to upgrade your account but yet not take care of ten year issues that are on record. Just a thought .. |

I am in Philadelphia 19152 and I thought I was on speed package 8000/768
By looking at my download speed am I getting more then 8000/768?
What would 2.45MB/Sec be = too?
By the way this speed test was on a wireless PC. |

In the very first post of this thread, there is a link to PowerBoost reports from Pennsylvania. That link leads here ---> »PowerBoost Up In Pennsylvania
Based on those reports and no evidence from you that Comcast has implemented Blast! for you, my best guess is that you are seeing PowerBoost on that download and probably have an initial burst for uploads as well, like many neighbors in your state.
