 | Yarr! Piracy definitely leads to sales and exposure. For games and applications. However, music is a different story. I don't think I've ever met a music pirate who went out and bought it. It doesn't bother me much since a musician's main source of income is live shows. Music piracy just hurts the middle man, which I don't have a lot of sympathy for because they aren't the ones with the creative talent and they're definitely charging too much for CDs. On-line subscriptions aren't bad tho. I'm happy with my cheap yahoo subscription. |
