[Connectivity] Problem with connection

i seem to be having a problem with my connection in the past couple of days. my internet seems to randomly stop working for a split second and then start to work again. the lights on the modem do nothing, and i have tried restarting the modem and the router numerous times. i wonder if the modem might be broken? any help is appreciated.

You need to post as much as you can from this »Adelphia High Speed Internet »FAQ: Things to post when seeking help on problems. . At the very least, post your modem signal levels, from here »192.168.100.1

I have the Motorola Surfboard SB5100. i actually just disconnected my router (D-link DGL-4300) to see if that was the problem, and it is still occuring. this has been happening for about a week and a half. here are the Modem signals:

Downstream Value
Frequency 597000000 Hz Locked
Signal to Noise Ratio 36 dB
Power Level -8 dBmV
The Downstream Power Level reading is a snapshot taken at the time this page was requested. Please Reload/Refresh this Page for a new reading

Upstream Value
Channel ID 5
Frequency 32000000 Hz Ranged
Power Level 45 dBmV

i am looking in the logs section and i am seeing all these strange errors, these are just some of the errors. some of seem to show up more than once, check them out.

Your signal levels look ok,you should give Comcast a call.

You say your connection stops working then starts again with no effort on your part ??
When you say "stops working", define what that means in your case.
Run a program like Ping Plotter, let it run all day and see what happens.
When it "stops working" what is your HD doing ?

Have you tried going USB to rule out a bad NIC?
