This has been an ongoing issue tied into RIAA and MPAA anti piracy concerns.

Legacy players are concerned new distribution technology will undermine the existing business model. Rather then figuring out how to leverage and exploit new technology they are waging a rear guard to slow down its adoption and if possible enact legislation that protects their model at the expense of all others.

I'm sorry but this has nothing to do with
anti piracy. This is GREED pure and SIMPLE.

Why would you give a crap about listening to a 128K stream and recording that to a cd? 128K sounds like crap.

Wake up people before it's TOO LATE.

America is dying and were going to lose our freedom of speech via the internet if this passes. This has NOTHING to do with piracy.

Please contact your senators (by phone) and tell them to veto this.

Also, why this isn't a hot form is because the average American is too distracted. Though what I'm seeing on Congress.org surprises me. People are mad and we should be.
