[Connectivity] Looking for method to log rx signal strength from

I'm having a problem with both my tv service and internet. It is particularly noticeable during windy days. I've noticed when the tv freezes, I get a corresponding entry in my modem log (RCA DCM325)for "SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire FEC framing" and I've also noticed my receive signal strength go from about 3 dBmv to -2.7 dBmv for the few seconds during the drop out. I'd particularly like to be able to log the latter. Anybody have any suggestions on how to do this, so I can give better info to Comcast? They are working on it, but it never seems to occur when they are around. Thanks.

they need to climb the pole.
something is wrong at the tap connection
that 3 to -2.7 is about a 6 db drop but in range still.
what is your upstream, that the one that may be hurting the connection

Upstream power level is 40.8 dBmv. Downstream SNR is 34 dB.

What's strange is that my neighborhood is all underground cables, but when the wind blows my tv and internet can be almost unusable. Because of this, I'd think it was a line outside my neighborhood, but Comcast claims that no one is complaining about the same problems. I'm working at pretty high levels in Comcast (after contacting the county). This problem has been ongoing since December and is getting pretty aggravating.

I'm getting that same thing in my rca...when I called support, they said my router was causing it, which I don't believe for a minute...but it's only an inconvenience when I'm playing World of Warcraft.

The problem has certainly caused some unfortunate deaths in WOW, as well as some interruptions when vpning to work. I'd think maybe it was a modem or router problem except the real indicator is my television picture (on digital service) freezing and losing sound at the same time.
