| Why no SDTV support
The iPod has been such a smash hit because of its universal support. Any computer with MacOS or Win2k/XP and a USB port could use it.
I don't understand why apple chooses to only support widescreen/HDTV. By not including SDTV outputs (composite/S-Video) they are eliminating a lot of potential customers. They have the chance to corner the media delivery market, especially if they can partner with content providers and get TV shows available the day of release. -- //Look//For//The//Oven//

| It supports SDTV (480p) Just not analog video output. It would be ugly but you can get a HDMI to DVI adapter then another DVI to S-Video adapter. Might be better off picking up a newer TV with the check Uncle Sam will be giving everyone to convert the HDTV. Analog TV is dead. |
