|  3CWER100-75 Dynamic IP MTU Problem
Can't dynamic ip addressing have at least a manual mtu config? I can't check my email unless I change to static addressing and set mtu to 1500.
I have the same problem as mentioned before here: when attached to a cable modem, the router sets 576 mtu, whereas when I connect the cable to the pc, the dhcp from the cable gives me 1500 mtu. This didn't happen with my old 2 port cheapo router.
edit: Tried firmware from post »More problems with 3CRWER100-75 (1.2.5ww), it does present a MTU Setting for Dynamic Address now (thanks!) which still defaults to 576 after boot (bad!!!).
If any 3com reps are reading this, can it be fixed?? |
