kudos:1 | Triple? Quad? I get telephone from Qwest, DSL from Qwest, ISP from Xmission and TV from my antenna. And no way in the place snowballs do not have a chance am I giving up Xmission for MSN, so unless they come out with a Double Play, I am out of luck.

Mountain View, CA | why would I sign up for anything like this. I hate contracts. They lock you in and then some new high tech thing comes out and then I want to get that instead, happens with phones all the time. |

That is very true if you are one who must have the latest and greatest. Those who just want the best price may or may not be better off with a contract, depending on what happens if the market falls out. One example, several folks here have lifetime cellphone contracts, I think it just went up to about $16 a month because of the change to digital, but the price is still about the same per month as it was 8 years ago.
