| [Connectivity] No connection in the 39401-39402 area
This is weird, my friends and I are having problem with our comcast connection.
The modem is on, receive light is on, send light is blinking but the modem never comes online.
However I have friends in the area that have no problem at all with their connection.
Called the customer service several time, first one said the problem is in the modem - it is a new modem but I went and get a replacement, called again said there's an outage in the area.
Waited for a 2 days and call again, said there's not outage in the area but they will need to send a technician to my place. But they're booked that the next available time is a week from now.
Called again to see if I can get an earlier spot and finally the CSR said that they are aware that there are some problem in my area but not sure when it will be fixed. Something a leak in the signal or something like that. The only solution is still to send a technician over in a week.
So I'm wondering if others is having the same problem and if so is there a way to fix it myself or if there's a way to get an earlier appointment ?? I'm going to call again tonight to see if they have a canceled appointment or something. |
