Test her!

Should be fairly easy to figure out if she's "telling the truth". Setup 5-6 different rooms far from each other. Ensure that some have wifi signals present, others do not. Make sure there is no way to figure it out visually. See which rooms make her get an "allergic reaction" and which ones do not...

Of course, if she was just doing it for attention/money, she'd never agree. That too would prove she's BS'ing.
