I wouldn't call it an ability. I would call it a sensitivity to certain types of radiation. Incandescent light is the same way; if I walk into a room where incandescent light is being used, I can feel it; if the light is turned off, I feel it. It's been tested. Almost seems like I can feel the heat being generated from the bulb, though from across the room that seems unlikely.

LCD light, LEDs, flourescent, and "natural" light like sunlight is different, I don't feel a thing.
