They have FireFox running on it now.
I wonder if I should tell them that the "AppleTOCWatchdog.kext" file is not in the standard Tiger install and is probably what is killing any attempt to launch the keyboard USB driver? |

| reply to LBDSL So here's the funny thing. All day I couldn't get much stuff copied over to my Apple TV. Now that it's nighttime it's been syncing continuously for the past half hour or so. Wonder if it's got something to do with the number of active wireless channels at a given time? Who knows, but it's working for now! -- -The Dude. |

| reply to LBDSL I got the first season of Battlestar Galactica and it seems the picture is oversized for my HDTV. So the credits are cut off on the bottom.

| The wireless ability on these things are horrible, I hope that can be fixed with some software update. There are tons of reports on Apple's support site with issues just like mine, wireless will go in and out, if it connects at all. One post had a user create some type of foil antennae extender.
But as Johnny pointed out, it does stop syncing when you use the AppleTV -- Lightning Bolt Technologies |

Open the floodgates for the switchers. $299 plus cheap USB KB and mouse, and $129 or less for the OS. Isn't there a cheap HDMI->DVI or other adapter? |

Edit: 256mb it seems, with 64mb video ram.
But anyway, I'm more interested in the hacks that make it work the other way around, running the AppleTV app on a regular Mac. I have a Mac mini hooked up to the HDTV, and it would be a nice front row replacement. -- GO LEAFS GO! |
