wakko : Not necessarily, I got mine yesterday and so far I love it. You can have one master computer to sync to and 5 other computers to stream from, so just sync the content you want from your upstairs computer to it and you will have your content. What I also like is that it doesn't power off, it goes to sleep so startup is instant. It also can resume movies/tv shows/podcasts/etc.. once you have started watching it on your computer or ipod. What I also like is that once I watch something on my apple tv it marks it as viewed on my itunes (whether streaming or syncing) library which will then remove it from my ipod once I sync the ipod. Essentially, it really is just a big ipod video. I am using it with my Samsung 1080p LN-S4095D TV but have not tried any HD content yet, only some itunes tv shows, trailers and music videos, they were basically TV quality, not to bad but not great. I have some DVD content being converted right now via visualhub and well test it out tonight.
--
How can we force democracy down the throats of other nations under the sword when we are not a Democracy?
