I still want to retain dual boot capabilities with it....but there's nothing in the apple/i* world that can compete with MCE. If there is - show me. I don't just want playback, i want recording - and full integration. MCE is installed in 2 steps, first is XP then after reboot it installed the MCE components. The first step wouldn't be a problem, it's the second that would be in question and my answer would be I'm not sure.

Riverhead, NY | MCE does install in two steps, but you need a MCE/XP disk for step 1 - at least i've never gotten it to work with one of my standard XP SP2 disks....i've had to use the MCE disk 1, and then disk 2 (MCE) to get an actual MCE going.
Not saying it can't be done, but that's how i've had to do it. I didn't anticipate any major problems, though. |
