Copps sitting on the fence

Copps voted for it but says inquiry won't do anything. Sounds like he is just playing politics. If he really thought it was a waste of time he should have voted against it.

But no matter what happens he is now covered. I voted for inquiry he will claim if the inquiry actually does anything. And if it doesn't, then he can say I told you so. What a spineless jellyfish.

In a 5-0 vote, the FCC approved a so-called notice of inquiry into the practices of cable and phone companies that offer high-speed Internet access.

Michael Copps, one of two Democrats on the FCC's five-member decision-making board, expressed concern that the Republicans controlling the agency might try to bury the issue. "History shows that notices of inquiries like this often disappear into the regulatory dustbin," he said.

He voted FOR Network Neutrality before he voted AGAINST it.

This sounds vaguely familiar for some reason...

(walks away scratching head...)

Very subtle humor. Nice touch.

Familiar indeed!

wait wait--not just that. The British government has learned that net neutrality supporters have recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.

that ALSO sounds very familiar. hopefully, it won't cost American tax payers $1 trillion dollars like after the other time i heard that phrase...

Oh, it really doesn't matter. It is all just "fiat money" anyway.
