- Your computer is connected to the network
- You have an IP Address, DNS, and Gateway address from the router
- When you go to Internet Explorer, you type in any www.whatever.com address but you get nothing
- When you ping yahoo.com, you manage to get the IP address. But when you place address into Internet Explorer, nothing happens.

again i got ip from router , i see dns of isp in ip config page.

Router get connected to cable modem with pppoe it gets ip and dns also i get ip from router but just can't get connected to internet , it just shows connecting to .......(ip NUMBER OF SITE) in browser but no internet . tried on different PC (all with winXP) , same thing. but when i connect direcly cable modem to pc everything is Ok.
